The ultimate crowd pleaser, DJ Lil Dee has an impressive resume.
Born in the Philippines, Lil Dee moved to Australia at the age of 5 and from early in life he had a fascination of Djing and an innate love of music, particularly RnB and Hip Hop which is massive in his home country.
Growing up he would watch old DMC battles on video tape and quickly became a big fan of the masters…. DJ QBert, Grandmaster Flash, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Craze, DJ Shadow and later DJ Rectangle, DJ Premier and particular DJ Poiny, who is famous throughout the Phillipines for his RnB / Hip Hop and turntable technique.
By the age of 18 Lil Dee has his own set of Technics 1200’s and the rest is history. He has been well known as the finest RnB DJ in Newcastle for over a decade, previously being known in Sydney circles for playing at some of massive clubs back in the day, including the infamous "Tunnel Nightclub" in Kings Cross that featured in the hit Channel 9 mini-series "Underbelly: The Golden Mile".
He has also supported some of the best RnB talent, including Fatman Scoop, Jessica Mauboy, Havanna Brown, Kronic, Samrai, Nino Brown, Naiki, G-Wizard, Ticklez and many more.
